Writing has always been my first and strongest joy, and something I’ve been doing since before I could spell. With this blog space, I bring together my collected work from around the Interwebs as a multi-genre writer who has been keeping a blog in one form or another since 1999.

As a reader, you can get a free subscription to access the public stuff I post, or you can sign up to be a paid subscriber. Paid subscribers get access to everything I post on here, have permission to comment on posts, and help me to get paid for my labour as a writer!

Regardless of the kind of subscription you go for, posts will be delivered right to your inbox, so it will be super easy for you to keep up with my written world. I used to have a schedule for posting but have decided to free myself of that. Regardless, my aim is to share something through my blog a couple times a month.

If you really enjoy my writing, I invite you to tell your friends! My audience is not very large and I don’t have the energy nor inclination to turn myself into a “brand”. I rely heavily on word-of-mouth and find I always make the best connections that way.

Posts from July 2021 and earlier have been imported from my previous blogs on Medium (2015 - 2021) and Blogger (2008 - 2015) and therefore hyperlinks within these posts may take you to either of these old blogs, or to an error page if the original post was one I deleted from the previous platform. Apologies for the clunkiness of this. I’m working to fix broken links regularly, and you can let me know when you encounter one.
