A new 'zine launch and a brief explainer

Super exciting news! Issue 4 of From the QILT2BAG+ is available to purchase this week! This issue’s theme is Come Out! Come Out! And it features stunning cover art by Marissa AKA @crywolf.art and wonderful contributions from Tet Millare, Aime Hutton, and Nier AKA Lisa Lanier, and me. You can buy it through my shop, but you will also be able to get it from any of the contributors!
The idea for this ‘zine came to me last year and I am so glad it did. It’s been amazing to connect with other creative queer folks and get to share their work with the world. I’ve loved doing it so much that I want to produce four more issues for June 2025—the same number of ‘zines as I did this year but in half the time. You can help make this happen by supporting the crowdfunding campaign I launched on October 10th, Coming Out Day.
This campaign is All Or Nothing and goes until midnight on November 1st. Backers get perks like the new issues as they come out, but also access to past issues, stickers, and thank you notes.
I have a stretch goals planned if we surpass the $1,500, but right now the aim is to hit that goal by November 1st!
Supporting this campaign helps me cover the costs of printing, the design program I use, and means I can pay contributors for their labour. This is a collaborative joy-generating project that supports 2SLGBTQIA+ writers and artists in their creative endeavors. If you haven’t already contributed, please consider doing so today!
