Honestly, how I go about practicing each one comes down to the context of any given moment. It's like I've got a tool kit with a lot of tools in it, and I get so familiar with each one that in any given moment, I just instinctively know which to reach for.
I initially chose one a week to work with, but some definitely stuck with me longer than others. As I worked on the commentaries, I found myself hanging out with certain slogans for months at a time—particularly if they had really ambiguous meaning and a lot of variation in how they were explained by the many texts I referenced.
Thank you for your support!

I've written two blogs about my process that go into it in more detail. This was the last one, after I finished all the commentaries mid-way through 2021: https://kschatch.substack.com/p/what-i-learned-writing-commentaries
And this one was from April 2020, on the various commentaries I referenced throughout my process: https://kschatch.substack.com/p/multiple-perspectives-bcbefe7aaef6
Ultimately, I'm still working with them and always will be as I explore the many ways they can apply in any given situation that arises.
Thank you! That's very lovely of you to say. :) I'm glad they have been of benefit.
